Ashley Edner
is an award winning actress who is only 14 years old. Just seven years ago, Ashley made her feature film debut working opposite
Winona Ryder in LOST SOULS playing a sweet child with a not so sweet agenda.
Ashley’s
ease in going from comedic to dramatic roles is evident as she has over 30 guest starring roles to her credit. An emotional
role in CBS’s JUDGING AMY earned Ashley a Young Artist Award nomination and she won a Young Artist Award for her compelling
portrayal of Melissa Bates in an episode of USA’s THE HUNTRESS.
In addition
to guest starring, Ashley had recurring roles on the EMMY award winning sketch comedy MADtv on FOX and played Rebecca Fyoomay
on THE AMANDA SHOW on Nickelodeon.
Her love for
animals made her work in RAIN one of her favorite roles. The film is based on a true story of a German Shepherd named Rain
who is trained to fight in the Vietnam War where his courage in the face of adversity wins the respect and loyalty of his
platoon. Ashley’s performance as Amy Davis, working opposite Susan Dey, in the family war drama earned her another Young
Artists Award nomination.
In DICKIE
ROBERTS: FORMER CHILD STAR, Ashley worked with David Spade showing her versatility
as an actress in the Paramount Pictures comedy about a thirty-something former child star (Spade) who hires a foster family
to re-create the childhood he never had.
In one of
Charles M. Schultz’s beloved Peanuts cartoons, Ashley brings ‘Sally’ to life in IT’S THE PIED PIPER,
CHARLIE BROWN.
Ashley has
several projects: the Dreamworks film HOUSE OF SAND AND FOG starring Jennifer Connelly and Ben Kingsley, and she just completed
Hallmark Channel’s tv movie MONSTER MAKERS working opposite of Academy Award nominee Linda Blair.
After a chance
meeting with Britney Spears, Ashley was asked to appear as the pop superstar’s younger self at the beginning of her
stage performance on the 42nd Annual GRAMMY Awards just days before it aired. That led to another thrilling and
challenging moment for Ashley when she performed Live on stage with OSCAR winner Jon Voight on HBO’s Britney Spears
Live From Las Vegas, playing the young Britney Spears for an enthusiastic crowd of almost 20,000 people.
When this
multi-talented young actress is not in front of the camera, she enjoys singing, dancing, hanging out with her friends and
little Maltese. Her family is very supportive, especially her big brother, Bobby, who is also an actor.
