Bobby Edner is a versatile young actor who handles both dramatic and comedic roles with ease. story. His compelling performance of a Missouri boy’s fight for his canine best friend earned him a Young Artist Award nomination for Best Performance in a Television Movie. In HBO/Stan Winston’s remake of the “Creature Feature” series entitled, The Day The World Ended, Mr. Edner’s portrayal of an exceptional boy who has powers earned him another Young Artist award nomination for Best Performance in a Television Movie. He took the unique opportunity to play a ghost in R.L. Steins’ Haunted Lighthouse, 4D to perform his own stunts and was thrilled to work with legendary director Joe Dante. Mr. Edner has just wrapped filming a lead role in Spy Kids 3D: Game Over to be released July 2003. His portrayal of “Francis, The Brain” showcases his versatile acting and stunt abilities. He performed the song Heart Drive at the film’s world premiere in Austin, Texas with his co-star Alexa Vega. This young thespian has over thirty-five television guest appearances which include portraying diverse characters on Birds Of Prey, E.R., Charmed, Judging Amy, JAG, Touched By An Angel and Philly. A favorite choice for ADR (additional dialogue recording) work, Mr. Edner has worked on features including Agent Cody Banks, The Hunted, Kangaroo Jack, Death To Smoochy and Monsters, Inc. Major advertising agencies have also featured him in numerous national commercials. As a professional “Hip-Hopper”, Mr. Edner is instantly recognized for his dancing homage to Michael Jackson in the Alien Ant Farms cover of Smooth Criminal, one of MTV’s most requested videos. When he is not in front of the camera, Mr. Edner excels in academics, music and sports. He maintains a 4.0 grade point average, is an avid golfer, plays basketball, writes songs and enjoys spending time with his family, close friends and his dog.
